LUNCH APPLICATIONS:

1.  You must fill out a new lunch application each year.

2.  If you filled out an application last year, your application should have been mailed to your home.

3.  If you have two or more children attending the same school, or a different school, you only have to fill out only ONE APPLICATION FOR ALL THE CHILDREN IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD.

4.  If you filled out a lunch application last year, you still must fill out a new lunch application.  Your child has a grace period of ten days on the old information from the last year's lunch application.

UNIVERSAL PIN NUMBER:

1.  Starting this year, all students will be given a 5 or 6 digit number.

2.  This number is assigned to your child as long as he or she is enrolled in the Mobile County Public School System.

3.  If your child transfers to a different school, or goes from elementary to middle, or middle to high school this number will follow your child.

4.  If your child has a positive or negative balance, this balance will also follow the child to the new school.

5.  The only change will be the status of the lunch application. Provided by the information given on the application.

PREPAYMENTS:

1.  WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE PREPAYING YOUR CHILD'S LUNCH OR BREAKFAST.

2.  You may prepay for breakfast/lunch each Monday Morning.

3.  You may prepay for a week, two weeks or longer.

• If paying by check, please make sure physical address is on check with phone number.
• On bottom of check write child's name and lunch number.
• If you have more than one child you may write one check.

4.       Please send the exact amount of money for breakfast and lunch.

5.       Please do not include snack, field trip, or party money in check that is for the cafeteria. We cannot give change back.   

6.       PLEASE SEND ALL MONEY IN A SEALED ENVELOPE.

PAYING:

Prepaying for all your child's meal is strongly encouraged - weekly or monthly.  All accounts must be kept current.  Charging is not permissible.  In the event a student does not bring money to school, an alternative meal will be provided.  (Depending on supplies, an alternative lunch may consist of a sandwich, juice or milk)

SPECIAL DIET OR FOOD ALLERGY:

1.        WE MUST HAVE A LETTER FROM THE CHILD'S DOCTOR.

2.       THIS LETTER NEEDS TO BE TURNED IN TO THE CAFETERIA TO BE PUT ON FILE.

3.       Forms are available in the cafeteria for the doctor to fill out.

BREAKFAST AND LUNCH PRICES:

Paid Breakfast:                         $1.00 per day                          $5.00 for one week

                                               $10.00 for two weeks               $20.00 for four weeks     

Reduced Breakfast:                  $.30 per week                          $1.50 for one week

                                               $3.00 for two weeks                $6.00 for four weeks

Full Paid Lunch:                        $1.75 per day                           $8.75 for one week

                                               $17.50 for two weeks               $35.00 for four weeks

Reduced Lunch:                        $.40 per day                             $2.00 for one week

                                               $2.00 for two weeks                $16.00 for four weeks

Milk - $.50

Juice - $.30
